Since 1989 Moondance has curated a thoughtful selection of jewelry and accessories, from statement-worthy fashion pieces to handcrafted, one-of-a-kind heirlooms—and everything in between. We’re proud to offer an eclectic mix of pieces from nearly 100 independent jewelry designers. Moondance also offers our own in-house fine jewelry collection. This means jewelry for you at every price point.
For more than 30 years, our brick-and-mortar boutique has been a Santa Monica shopping destination. In fact, it’s one of the oldest businesses on Montana Avenue. Our in-store clients range from LA locals, notable celebrities, and travelers from all over the world. When visiting our store, shoppers forget about the worries of the outside world, often comparing our space to a “candy shop.” We love that! There’s always something new to see at many price points in our relaxed and intimate shop, with its bright white walls, polished wood floors, warm lighting, and high ceilings. Ever since high school I dreamed of having my own business. I always felt like it would happen, but never knew exactly when or how. My career started working (in corporate) at Helmut Lang, where I eventually led the Merchandising team. When I moved from New York to LA in 2015, I immediately fell in love with an incredible jewelry boutique in Santa Monica. I approached the owner, Orly, and asked for a job. Within a short time I found myself managing the store, working really hard and learning a ton. When it came time for Orly to pass down the store she came to me.
In 2017 I decided it was time to fulfill my dream of having my own business and bought Moondance Jewelry Gallery. In the last 5 years we’ve continued to serve the Santa Monica community, expand our collection and carry on what we all know and love about Moondance.
